Coal Ash Management: The Next Decade
ACAA, CAER’s Summer Ash Workshop Postponed
Coal Ash Management: The Next Decade, the summer workshop hosted by the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) and the University of Kentucky Center for Applied Energy Research (CAER), that was scheduled for June 23-24, 2020 in Birmingham, Alabama has been postponed.
Due to concerns over the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), travel restrictions both domestically and internationally, meeting restrictions and financial concerns for many companies and organizations affected by this crisis, meeting organizers thought it best to postpone.
With several events on the docket for both ACAA and CAER in the months ahead and with World of Coal Ash (WOCA) 2021 coming up in May 2021 in northern Kentucky, the meeting will be postponed until June 2022, during the WOCA off-year. The event will still take place in Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort in Birmingham, Alabama in June 2022. We will communicate the specific dates once we have it finalized.
We regret that we won’t be able to see our friends in Birmingham in June. However, we hope all of you remain healthy and safe during these unprecedented times.
We will have exhibit tables to display promotional materials or samples. A complimentary event registration for one attendee/exhibitor will also be included. Please Note: the display tables will be in a public area and neither ACAA, UK CAER, EPRI, nor the hotel will be responsible for their security at any time.
