The World of Coal Ash Conference (WOCA) has a long tradition of welcoming participants from around the world, and international engagement remains an important part of WOCA 2026.

We recognize that international travel and visa processes can require additional time and planning. We strongly encourage international attendees and speakers to begin travel and visa preparations as early as possible.

The WOCA 2026 organizing committee is committed to supporting international participation. Invitation letters and conference documentation can be provided upon request to assist with visa applications and institutional travel approvals.

If you anticipate challenges related to international travel, or if you require supporting materials for visa or travel purposes, please contact the WOCA registrar, Brooke Pirmann, at Brooke.Pirmann@uky.edu as early as possible. We will make every effort to provide timely information and assistance.
